Cedarwood Himalayan is a tall, evergreen tree that grows up to 50 m, and even higher. It primarily grows on the slopes of the Himalayas in northern India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Cedarwood Himalayan Rectified Oil is distilled from roots and stumps of Cedrus Deodara which has been left after cutting of Deodar trees for timber extraction.
Cedarwood Oil Himalayan is obtained by giving an alkali wash to crude oil. The oil that is rich in Himanchalene is called super rectified oil and the oil rich in Atlantone and higher fraction-removing resin is called perfumery grade cedarwood oil.
